Clay officers looking for woman and her 'brothers' in armed robbery | News
ORANGE PARK, Fla. -- Investigators in Clay County are asking for your help finding a woman and men she referred to as her 'brothers' who are connected to an armed robbery.
They say she approached a man outside a Gate Gas Station on Blanding Boulevard and asked for money on July 17. She said her brothers were waiting across the street and needed money for a hotel room, according to a release from Mary Justino of the Clay County Sheriff's Office.
The man said he would buy what he needed to buy and would let her know for sure when he came out of the store.
When he came out, he said no and walked back toward his apartment. Then, two men, who may have been connected to the woman, held the man at gunpoint.
They forced the man to the ground, stole money and other items.
