Tree Cutting Accident Kills Man | News
ORANGE PARK, Fla. -- A 76-year-old Jacksonville man was killed this afternoon while cutting down a tree.
According to Mary Justino, Public Information Officer for the Clay County Sheriff's Office, the accident happened at Awakenings Church on Blanding Blvd in Orange Park.
76-year-old Alfred Ansley and his 66-year-old brother were using a Bobcat tractor to brace a tree Alfred was cutting down.
The tree shifted, causing Alfred to be pinned beneath the tractor.
The victim was taken to Orange Park Medical Center where he died.
