KENNEDY SPACE CENTER, Fla. -- The weather still isn't cooperating with the final shuttle launch scheduled for Friday morning.

Mission managers said this morning there is a 70 percent chance bad weather will force a delay. They could launch Saturday or Sunday, but if it's delayed past Sunday they would have to wait a couple of weeks for an unmanned rocket launch.

But the countdown clock is still set for a Friday launch shortly after 11 a.m. NASA officials say they just need a small window through the clouds to launch.

One key decision will be made around midnight Friday morning, when they are scheduled to fill the fuel tanks. If the weather still looks bad, they could decide to postpone that early.
