Free Dentistry Day at Island Walk Dental Care, April 14th | Events
Fleming Island community will have the opportunity to receive free dental services including free extractions at Island Walk Dental Care on April 14th.
Dr. Renata Folstein and her team, along with several other area doctors, will be improving the oral health of needy citizens as part of the office team’s second annual Free Dentistry Day, an initiative to help the growing number of Americans without dental insurance.
“Whether they’re out of a job or just don’t have dental insurance, there are people in our community who need dental services but have no means to afford them,” said Dr. Folstein. “This event is a great opportunity for us to share our time and resources with those less fortunate and give back to the community we serve.”
“Our team is committed to lifetime dental care because good oral health is integral to overall health,” said Dr. Folstein. “By participating in this program, our goal is to emphasize the importance of lifetime, preventative care and encourage patients to adopt an ongoing oral care program.”
Free dental extractions will be given on Saturday, April 14th from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. to the first 70 patients at Island Walk Dental Care located at 1647 County Road 220, Suite 101. For more information, please call (904) 278-6229.
One third of Americans are living without dental insurance and current economic conditions leave little room to afford dental procedures. Without Free Dentistry Days, dental care simply isn’t an option for many uninsured people.
Dr. Renata Folstein and her team are proud members of the Heartland Dental Care family of practices.
