Winn-Dixie is helping individuals and businesses to prepare now for what is predicted to be an “active to extremely active” year for tropical storms. The six-month Atlantic hurricane season begins today.

“Our guests can find the supplies to stock their hurricane kits at their neighborhood stores, and it can be done on a budget by using our Customer Reward Card and taking advantage of this week’s hurricane preparedness stock up and save sale in our stores,” said Mary Kellmanson, Winn-Dixie’s group vice president of marketing.  “We are offering a number of Buy One, Get One (BOGO) sales, 10 for $10 items, and ‘Save ’til’ offers. That’s in addition to our Winn-Dixie brand products, which are better than or equal in quality to national brands at a significant cost savings.”

Clay County Shutting Down Late Night Alcohol Sales at Large Bars

Clay County Shutting Down Late Night Alcohol Sales at Large Bars

ORANGE PARK, Fla. -- The Crazy Horse Saloon opens at 6 p.m., giving line dancing lessons out on the dance floor.

That's where you'll find instructor Yvonne Linderberg.

"I started at Crazy Horse 1, then Crazy Horse 2, then Crazy Horse 3," said Linderberg.

Yvonne's been teaching country line dancing at The Crazy Horse Saloon for 15 years now.

"I love the people and teaching line dancing lessons. We have really good people who come here," she said.

People like Ivan Garcia, who's been dancing at the Crazy Horse just as long as Yvonne's been teaching.

"A lot of friends that come over here, it's been a tradition," said Garcia.

That tradition may soon look very different.

The Clay County Commissioners passed an ordinance this week that bans the sale of alcohol after 11 p.m. at large bars on the Wells Road Corridor.
