Today, there are many singing competitions, but none that is quite like this. The American Heart Association/American Stroke Association, GMC, formerly the Gospel Music Channel and Music World launched the Most Powerful Voices Online singing competition that may save your life!
The Postal Service is asking Americans for suggestions on who should be the first living person to be honored on a U.S. postage stamp. Until now, a person has to have been dead for five years before appearing on a stamp. The post office has been facing severe financial problems, and a boost in stamp collecting would mean additional revenue.

The tour this year is a much-requested nighttime tour of part of Evergreen Cemetery at 4535 N. Main St. The Port of Jacksonville Pilot Club and the Pilot Club of Orange Park are busy planning for an exciting weekend, Oct. 21-22.
